Caramel Apple-Almond Crepes

A great dish for dessert or breakfast, these filled crepes are quick and easy to make, full of wonderful flavor, and make any occasion special.

Two-Minute Tapenade

I adore tapenade and this recipe makes it super-easy to have homemade, preservative free tapenade in just a smidgen more time than it would take to open a jar of the commercial stuff! The quality of the tapenade directly relates to the quality of the olives and olive oil you use, so make sure to use a good quality olive oil and olives you like.

1 cup pitted Kalamata or other favorite olives
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons drained capers
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until the mixture is smooth. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Tapenade can be served cool or at room temperature.

Makes about 1 cup.
