Sherilynn's Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole
Recipe Submitted by Sherilynn G.
"This is my favorite recipe to make with leftover Easter ham. It is especially good if you still have relatives in the house as it looks nice and tastes really good."
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 pounds chicken tenders
Dried bread crumbs
8 ounces cubed Swiss cheese
8 ounces diced cooked ham
1 can (10oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt
Pepper
Beat the egg and add the 1/2 cup milk. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture and then the bread crumbs. Fry until brown and crispy in hot oil. Place in baking dish and toss with cheese cubes and ham. Mix soup with 1 cup milk, onion powder, salt, and pepper and pour over casserole. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
