Caramel Apple-Almond Crepes


A great dish for dessert or breakfast, these filled crepes are quick and easy to make, full of wonderful flavor, and make any occasion special.


Pureed Cranberry Sauce

It really doesn't get any easier than this simple and smooth cranberry sauce. Full of vibrant pure cranberry flavor and a minimum of sugar, this sauce makes for a simple and wonderful addition to any holiday dinner. This sauce can be made well in advance and stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.

2 pounds cranberries
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups water

Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium saucepan and simmer until the cranberries have popped and are soft. Cool and place in a food processor. Puree the mixture then push through a strainer. Serve chilled.

Makes 8 servings.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Cooling Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
