Caramel Apple-Almond Crepes

A great dish for dessert or breakfast, these filled crepes are quick and easy to make, full of wonderful flavor, and make any occasion special.

Lemon-Mustard Green Beans

I freely admit that I am a bit crazy about green beans - and luckily so is my husband. We usually end up having them for dinner multiple times in a week and we never tire of this simple and easy preparation that goes wonderfully with so many different main dishes. I will frequently steam the green beans up to 24 hours in advance and just toss them with the dressing 30-40 minutes before dinner and they come out perfect every time.

2 pounds trimmed green beans
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper

Steam or boil the beans until bright green and tender - but still crisp and immediately immerse in ice water. Drain the beans well and set aside. Whisk together the remaining ingredients until smooth. Toss with the green beans and serve at room temperature.

Makes 6 servings.
