Spiced Grape Salad
This quick and easy salad makes a great snack, side dish, or light dessert. The mixture of creamy grapes, tangy yogurt, and aromatic spices makes for a surprisingly special dish that is very low in fat and calories. Try packing leftover salad in lunch bags or boxes for a change from traditional fruit cups or puddings.
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch salt
6 cups whole or halved seedless red and/or green grapes
Whisk together the yogurt, sugar, and spices in a large bowl. Add the grapes and toss to coat with the dressing. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
