Delicious, decadent, and drop-dead gorgeous, this cake is one of my favorite go-to recipes whenever I need the perfect finale for a celebratory meal.

Potato Paprika Saute
To add another dimension of color, sprinkle Italian parsley over the dish. Croatians love potatoes. This dish is especially good when new potatoes are used.
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons red paprika
4 red or white potatoes, sliced
Salt to taste
1. Heat oil until warm in a medium skillet. Sprinkle red paprika. Immediately add the potatoes. Cover the skillet with a lid. Cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
2. When the potatoes are fork-tender, add salt.
Makes 4 servings.

Cooking time: 12 minutes
Cooling time: 5 minutes
Total time: 22 minutes
