Flourless Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Raspberries

Flourless Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Raspberries

Diet, Schmiet. Some foods are worth breaking New Year's Resolutions - and this cake definitely fits the bill. Delicious, decadent, and drop-dead gorgeous, this cake is one of my favorite go-to recipes whenever I need the perfect finale for a celebratory meal.

Onion Herb Bagel Chips

This easy recipe is great and very tasty. The bagel chips wonderful with many spreads and dips, or just as a snack. For the party season I like to double or triple the recipe so I have plenty on hand as they are always quickly gobbled up. They store very well in an airtight container for up to a week.

1 envelope onion soup mix
2/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon crushed dried basil leaves
Pinch crushed dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon crumbled dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
5 bagels, cut into 1/8 inch slices

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients except for the bagels. Brush each side of the bagel slices liberally with the mixture and place on a baking sheets. Bake for 45 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, flipping the slices every 15 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.
