Fresh Fruit In Watermelon Basket|
This recipe is part of Linda Larsen's Last Minute Fourth of July Bash Menu
Use the most wonderful fresh fruit you can find. If you are lucky enough to have a garden, use your own produce for the best flavor. And farmers markets are brimming with great fruits this time of year.
Slice a watermelon lengthwise and carefully hollow it out, saving the flesh to use in the salad. You can cut the edges of the melon in a zigzag or star pattern for an extra-special look. Place the fruit in the melon, wrap well and chill.
