Snacker Meatballs

"The guys in my family love these meatballs. I just serve them in a big bowl with toothpicks and they eat them right up."
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 minced onion, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Pinch pepper
Mix together the beef, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, half the onion, and salt. Make 1 inch meatballs and brown quickly in a frying pan. Drain off the grease. Mix together the remaining ingredients including the rest of the onion in a large baking dish. Add the meatballs. Bake at 350 for one hour.
