Scallion and Gorgonzola Bread
1 loaf crusty Italian bread
4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese
1 bunch chopped scallions
Freshly ground black pepper
Slice the bread lengthwise and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese and scallions over the bread and pepper to taste. Broil 4-5 inches below the broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly hot. Cut into slices and serve hot.
