Gouda and Chive Scrambled Eggs
I adore cheese. And gouda just so happens to be one of my absolute favorites. Combined with chives, one of my favorite herbs, it makes for wonderful fragrant scrambled eggs that are just delightful.
4 eggs
1 cup grated Gouda cheese
2 tablespoons chopped chives
2 tablespoons butter
Place a large heavy frying pan on the stove over medium heat. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the grated cheese and the chives. Add the butter to the pan and melt, coating the pan evenly. Add the egg mixture, and immediately turn the heat down to low. With a spatula, move the eggs around constantly until the eggs are all cooked the way you like them.
Makes 2 servings.
