Mexican Style Sangria
This boozy Sangria is typical of the type commonly served with spicy Mexican food in restaurants. More potent than the Spanish style counterparts, this beverage sure packs a wallop! Make sure all of the ingredients are well chilled before mixing. Sliced fruit works great as a more traditional addition.
40 ounces dry red table wine
40 ounces orange juice
1 1/2 cups Triple Sec
1 cup sweet and sour mix
1 cup grenadine
1 cup brandy
2 cups chilled lemon lime soda
Mix together all of the ingredients except for the soda in a large bowl or container. Tightly seal and chill for at least 2 hours. Mix in the lemon lime soda and serve in chilled glasses.
Makes 15 servings.
