Flourless Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Raspberries


Diet, Schmiet. Some foods are worth breaking New Year's Resolutions - and this cake definitely fits the bill. Delicious, decadent, and drop-dead gorgeous, this cake is one of my favorite go-to recipes whenever I need the perfect finale for a celebratory meal.





Buttery Roasted Red Potatoes

Every time I make this very simple potato dish everyone goes bonkers over. It is simple, it is beautiful, but it tastes incredible and is a perfect match with any roast meat.

8 cups washed and halved small red potatoes
1/3 cup olive oil
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Toss the potatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper in a large roasting pan. Roast for 55 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the butter, toss well, and return to the oven for five minutes. Toss well and serve immediately.

Makes 8 servings.

Cooking Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes
