Try this simple dip with crudités, sliced apples and pears, or breadsticks. It has a mild curry flavor that is very appealing and makes for a great addition to any buffet or collection of appetizers. This dip actually has better flavor when made at least 6 hours in advance, but is also quite good made at the last minute for impromptu entertaining.
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon grated onion and juice
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Whisk together all of the ingredients. Serve immediately, or chill up to 48 hours before serving.
Makes 1 cup of dip.
