Finger Sticks
Our testers had lots of fun making and eating these "fingers." They are very simple to make and are quick and easy for children to help make - or for older children to make all by themselves. Candy corn makes great fingernails, but so does assorted shapes cut out of other candy, nuts, chocolate chips, and other ingredients.
5 ounces white chocolate
12 pretzel rods
12 pieces candy corn
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and set aside. Melt the chocolate until smooth according to the package directions. (If there are no directions, microwave for 30 seconds on half power and stir. Microwave in 15 second intervals on half power, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is smooth and melted. The chocolate will melt more as you stir it so don't skip the stirring step!) Dip each rod into the chocolate, let any extra drip off and add a candy corn sprinkle. Place on the waxed paper and let dry for at least two hours. If making more than a few days in advance, store in an airtight container.
Makes 12 pretzel sticks.
