Stuffed Monster Heads
Not much of a recipe, but a simple and great "trick" to freak out the whole family or guests. Inspired by the fact that I always kept really ripe bananas in the refrigerator to use for banana bread as I got the chance, we decided to try it with really firm bananas and the end result was better than we had even hoped for.
One firm yellow or yellow-green banana
Place the banana in the refrigerator for at least three days. The skin will turn a deep dark black, but the interior banana will not ripen any more. The bananas can be stored for up to a few weeks with good results.
