Pumpkin Patch Puddings
These cute puddings are tasty and very easy to make. The bright orange pudding was easy to make using gel paste food colors, but traditional food coloring can be used instead, although the color will not be as vibrant. Regular chocolate cream cookies can be used if you do not have or cannot find the ones with orange filling. Don't add the marshmallow pumpkins until you are ready to serve or else they will get mushy.
20 chocolate and orange cream cookies
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups milk
Orange food coloring paste
4 marshmallow pumpkin pairs
Crush the cookies to form a fine crumb and set aside. Mix the pudding with the milk according to the package directions in a medium bowl. Add enough food color to turn the pudding a vibrant orange. Spoon half of the pudding into 4 cups. Add a layer of crushed cookies, then the rest of the pudding. Top with the remaining cookie crumbs. Refrigerate for at least half an hour to chill. Top with the marshmallow pumpkins before serving.
