Cupboard Snack Mix

No matter how organized you are, errors will happen. Such as a charming cat knocking a whole bowl of snack mix on the floor, and you not having time to go to the store to buy new ingredients. This was a desperation snack mix based on one of my favorite mixes, that was oddly good. I always have popcorn in the house and I was able to make homemade croutons (although I recommend boxed for this recipe as the taste difference really is not worth the fuss for a children's party).

6 cups popped popcorn
2 cups cheese crackers
2 cups unseasoned croutons
2 cups pretzels
1 cup almonds
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons Worcesterhsire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
dash cayenne pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease two large rimmed baking sheets. Combine the popcorn, crackers, croutons, pretzels, and almonds in a large bowl and toss to combine. Mix together the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the snack mix and toss to coat. Spread on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for about ten minutes, or until the popcorn is just barely starting to turn golden brown. Let cool slightly and then store in a tightly sealed container at room temperature for at least two hours.
