            | Wild Monster Eyes
I just realized that I now have enough recipes based on dishes that look like eyes to do a whole dinner and then some with "eye" dishes. I do not think the local optometry association will be contacting me any time soon, as these eyes are kooky monster eyes. These are simple appetizers to assemble and taste very good. You can use your favorite salad dressing in this recipe. My personal favorite is French, but my taste testers preferred ranch dressing. I have never gotten the same yield from this recipe when I have made it, so the amounts of the ingredients are kind of loose. Buy the largest black olives you can find for this recipe. 3 hard cooked eggs 6 plum tomatoes salad dressing huge black olives, sliced pimento stuffed olives, sliced Thinly slice the eggs to form white and yellow circles. Count how many circles you have, then slice an equal number of tomato slices. Place a dab of dressing on each tomato slice and top with an egg slice. Top with a slice of black olive and slide a slice of green olive inside the black olive. Serve at room temperature. |
