Detail of Caramel Apple-Almond Crepes

Caramel Apple-Almond Crepes

A great dish for dessert or breakfast, these filled crepes are quick and easy to make, full of wonderful flavor, and make any occasion special.

Watermelon Stacks

Watermelon StacksCool, refreshing, and extremely low in fat and calories, these stacks make a perfect dessert dish. For extra special occasions, cut the watermelon into shapes, like stars or hearts, for a beautiful presentation. For non-dieters, regular whipped topping or whipped cream can be used. The stacks can be made in advance - but the whipped topping should still be partially frozen and the watermelon squares should be chilled before assembling - especially if the day is warm to prevent the stacks from sliding. The squares can be cut up to a day in advance and stored in a sealed container or wrapped in foil or plastic wrap to stay fresh.

20 3-inch wide thin squares of watermelon
1 cup fat free whipped topping

Watermelon Stacks DetailPlace a dab of whipped topping on each of four dessert plates. Arrange a watermelon square on each plate. Spread each square with about a teaspoon of whipped topping. Place another square on top and repeat with the remaining squares and whipped topping until each stack has five levels.

Makes 4 servings.
