 Looking for an elegant, yet easy, menu for this Easter? Look no farther than this wonderful menu based around fresh spring ingredients and simple preparations.
When I was growing up, Easter was by far the most important holiday of the year. It was the time of year to pull out all the stops and create really fantastic dishes. Some years those dishes were in keeping with traditional family recipes, but over time and as the family changed the meal changed. This one of our favorite variations…an elegant dinner for eight. The recipes are elegant, but relatively easy to prepare. It is very much a casual elegant as well…no frou-frou dishes or funky ingredients. Just basic comfort food elevated a level or two and simply prepared. We also highlighted the best of spring ingredients that are not only at their prime, but are also reasonably priced.
