Liquid Measurement Equivalents

Need a quick liquid measurement conversion? Use this handy table to convert measurements from cups, teaspoons, tablespoons, ounces, liters, pints, quarts, gallons, and more.



60 drops = 1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon = 1/16 ounce or 5 ml

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon

1 tablespoon = 1/2 ounce or 15 ml

16 tablespoons = 1 cup, 1/2 pint, 8 ounces, or 237 ml

8 tablespoons = 1/2 cup, 4 ounces, or 119 ml

4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup, 2 ounces, or 59 ml

5 1/3 tablespoons = 1/3 cup, 2 2/3 ounces, 79 ml

2 tablespoons = 1 ounce or 1/8 cup

2 cups = 1 pint, 16 ounces, or 473 ml

4 cups = 1 quart, 32 ounces, 946 ml, or 1 liter

2 pints = 1 quart

1 1/2 fluid ounces = 1 jigger

4 quarts = 1 gallon, 128 ounces, 3,785 ml, or 3 3/4 liters

pinch = approximately 1/8 teaspoon
