Spring : Recipes Inspired by Nature's Bounty by Joanne Weir
Full of great recipes with wonderful spring flavor, this book is part of the excellent Williams-Sonoma Seasonal Celebration Series. Like all of the books in this series, the book is lavishly filled with gorgeous photos and detailed recipes.
Product Recommendations:
Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 4 1/2-Quart Sauce Pan with Lid OK, it is very scary to spend that first chunk of cash on a Calphalon pan. Yes, they do cost the earth. However, they are well worth the money. They cook like a dream, it is almost impossible to burn anything (even risotto) in these pans because they heat so evenly. Beyond how well they work on the stove, unlike less expensive pans, they will last forever. I slowly am replacing my current stock of pans one by one with Calphalon and will never use any other brand again! (And am secure that these pans will last a lifetime and still look gorgeous.)
